A Long Drive Home

It was a long drive home from Drysdale on Saturday afternoon with only our D Grade, U/19, and U/17 netball teams coming away with a win. Our U/15 (2) netball team played out an exciting draw.
All of our other sides were not able to match it with Drysdale on the day.
After a great first half our U/18 football team were not able to keep up with Drysdale in the second half and went down 17-7-109 to 10-15-75.
Our reserves were never in the match and were soundly beaten 23-12-150 to 6-13-49.
In the seniors grand final rematch Drysdale pulled away in the second half and had a sound 17-7-109 to 10-15-75 win.
Drysdales midfield players and our poor kicking at goal did the damage on the day.
Our A Grade netball team went head to head with Drysdale but finally lost 33-31 in a thriller. The B’s and C’s also fought out close games but eventually lost 29-25 and 17-15.
