Bellarine Football Netball League

Season 2011 will see the introduction of  the new Bellarine Football and Netball League. In short this means that all Bellarine Football and Netball clubs will now come under the umbrella of the one governing body, Football and Netball Geelong.

The senior football section of our club has been under the administration of Football and Netball Geelong for quite some time. This new move means that our football and netball sections will now be administered by the same body.

The Geelong Amateur club was one of the first to see the advantages that this move would bring to the competition, in particular the scheduling of finals games for both netball and football on a same day, same venue arrangement.

While there was some debate amongst clubs as to whether or not embrace the new structure eventually all clubs agreed to the move and now look forward to a new era of netball administration
