GAFC Footballer to play for Victoria

Patrick Killen of Amateurs Blue Under 12 team has been selected to represent Victoria in the Australian Football 12 and Under competition to be held in Perth.  This has been a fantastic acheivement by Patrick to make the final team of 23 players after a selection process that began in April .

His impressive performances caught the eye of the Victorian team selectors and he was invited to attend further selection trials that culminated in his selection. Patrick will join with team mates to play in a series of practice matches and training sessions before competing in the School Sport Australia event to be held in Perth.

Here’s hoping that Patrick and his Victorian team mates can win the Australian title and, who knows, we may even see Patrick break into senior ranks over the coming years .
