Senior side marches into Grand Final
The Geelong Amateur senior football team will play the winner of Drysdale and Queenscliff in the 2010 Grand Final to be held at Spring Creek Reserve, Torquay. This will be our senior sides third grand final in a row and caps off another great home and away year for the side. If form throughout the year is taken into account it is likely that Drysdale will be there to defend its’ 2009 premiership. Coach Travis Robertson knows that the most important game of the year is still to be won and that Saturdays good win against the reigning premiers Drysdale stands for nought if his side does not reproduce the great form it is capable off. Our side has some great ammunition up forward by way of Jason Tom and goal sneak Jarrod Westwood. Our midfeild is in top flight with Marty White, Fages, and Tim Clark all in great touch. Toss in Bos, Trev, Boffa, and Richie Kangars not to mention our solid backline led by Adam Taylor and his flankers. This great side has almost made Spring Creek its ‘home ground’ on grand final day and will not leave anything in its tank in the ultimate game of the year. Results from Saturdays win over Drysdale. Ammos. 18.13.-121 Drysdale 11.7.-73 For full match details click >http://www.footballgeelong.com.au/index.php?/bfl-seniors.html
