U/15 Players make State team

On behalf of our club, congratulations to Alex Hickey, Scott Dixon and Jacob Sharp who were recently selected in the Victorian Country Football league U/15 representative team that will play in the Perth Carnival later this year. Seven boys from Geelong were selected and Geelong Amateur Football Club is very proud to have three players represented. Alex is a fantastic mark and can play anywhere from full forward to full back. Scott is an elusive onballer who never seems to get tackled and Jacob is a prodigious kick who loves kicking goals on either foot. These boys have a very bright football future ahead of them and are a testament to our excellent junior football program.
