U/18 Canoe Trip

The clubs under 18 side enjoyed a great weekend canoeing the Glenelg River, in south west Victoria on the 13th – 14th March this year. The bus left the clubrooms at 7.30am on Saturday morning and arrived at the launching place on the river at noon. The guys paddled 16 kilometres downstream that afternoon before making camp on the bank of the river for the night. On the Sunday another 18 kilometres was covered before jumping on the bus and heading back to Geelong. The weekend gave the guys a great chance to get to know each other off the field as well as building up a few biceps
