U/18,s just miss out.

Our U/18 side have missed out on a grand final spot after losing to Ocean Grove in a thriller at Drysdale last Saturday. The game was played in a hard but fair manner all day with never more than a couple of goals seperating the two teams. Despite The Geelong Amateur side controlling the game in the last quarter they were unable to get the ball through the goals due to some desperate defending by the Ocean Grove backline. Congratulations to the coaches and players for what has been a very successful 2010 season. Ocean Grove will now face the Drysdale U/18 side in the Grand Final this Saturday at Torquay.
