GAFNC Life Members

GEELONG AMATEUR FOOTBALL & NETBALL CLUB LIFE MEMBERS

Life Membership Historically, one of the tasks of the GAF&NC Committee has been to identify candidates within the club for elevation to Life Membership and to make such recommendations to the club members at the Annual General Meeting.

It was decided that this responsibility should be transferred to a more specialised group of current Life Members who will receive nominations and assess them against criteria as shown in the following documents. This sub-committee, led by Rob Foster, will then present their recommendations to the GAF&NC committee which, in turn, will present to the members at the annual meeting as before.

Any financial club member can nominate another member for life membership. As stated in the following documents, nominations must be in writing and received by the GAF&NC committee by September 1st each year. GAF&NC Committee
